May All Beings Be Happy, Healthy & Free.

May All Beings Be Happy, Healthy & Free.

“Happy, Healthy & Free” is my mantra, it’s what I strive for, & what I hope for ALL people.

Inspired by 2 very meaningful things to me:

1) The Yogic Manta "Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu,(may all beings everywhere be happy, healthy & free). Every time I hear this said in a yoga class, it brings me such peace - that’s all any of us really want: unconditional joy, true wellbeing, & embodied freedom.

2) My Husband - our relationship has been so healing. Early on, when I struggled with my body image, he would say “honey, as long as you’re happy & healthy, that’s all I care about.” That’s still our mantra for each other & what we aim for in our relationship.

Hi, I’m Liz—an anti-diet, weight-inclusive coach, & Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor. I hold a Masters in Therapeutic Recreation - my work is grounded in mindfulness & trust.

I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology just as COVID-19 hit. With my grad school plans on pause, the unexpected stillness and isolation became a greenhouse for my healing. During that time, I reclaimed my life from a decade of disordered eating and began my journey toward peace with my body.

A year later, I began my Master’s in Recreational Therapy, a field that blended my passions for movement, mental health & authentic connection. Shifting my career path from psych was easy - because the foundation of my healing wasn’t traditional talk therapy. Healing happened as I…

  1. Moved my body in ways that helped me feel free, expressive, and connected me back to my body.

  2. Learned the value - and the art - of being fully present with others, my body, and with my lived experience.

In 2021, I completed my Yoga Teacher Certification and began teaching—one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Yoga allows me to weave together things I find incredibly liberating: mindfulness, creative movement, functional strength, spirituality, and self-compassion. I’ve taught yoga in psych hospitals, neuro-rehab clinics, outpatient programs, fitness centers, and studios. No matter the space, I’ve seen one core truth emerge: Life is experienced through the body, and everyone deserves to feel safe, peaceful, and liberated.

Today, I live in the Texas Hill Country—a quiet river town I share with my husband and our weenie dog. My coaching practice feels like my dharma: the goodness my soul is here to offer. I support clients in releasing diet rules and body-shame so they can walk heart-first into body trust, peace, and freedom.

I know how heavy it can all feel,

because I have carried it too.

& I do this work now,

because it’s what I needed then.

I’ve been there too.

Caught in the exhausting cycle of disordered eating, obsessed with “health,” and convinced that if I could just fix my body, everything else would fall into place. I internalized diet culture & a thin-ideal at a young age, and feeling like my body was a project I could never quite complete. What started as “healthy habits” turned into obsession: over-exercising, rigid routines, food rules, and deep body-shame. Even when the surface behaviors stopped, the mindset lingered.

I functioned as a limited version of myself for so long, believing the entirety of my worth was wrapped up in achieving an ideal body image. Healing began when I got radically honest with myself. I had to loosen my grip on control, even when it felt wildly unfamiliar, and choose trust - moment to moment, breath to breath.

Life became so much more vibrant and satisfying on the other side of all that striving - and that’s the magic I want to share with you. The process wasn’t linear. It was vulnerable, humbling, and life-altering. But it brought me home to myself in a way I didn’t think was possible. Through intuitive eating, yoga, and embodiment work, I discovered what it meant to move with my body, instead of against it.

This lived experience is what allows me to sit beside you in your healing. Body Trust isn’t a far-fetched ideal, it’s your birthright - it’s just buried under layers of conditioning and fear. I am here to support you as you let go of the lies and rebuild something beautiful.

What I do & What you can expect working with me:

I help thoughtful, heart-forward humans rebuild trust with their bodies, reclaim intuition around food, and rediscover joy in movement.

In our work together, you won’t hear about calories, macros, step goals, or what you “should” be doing according to diet culture. We will celebrate that you’re a whole person with emotions, history, preferences, values, and a body that’s been doing its best with the tools it’s had.

Here, food is more than fuel - it’s comfort, culture, and connection. Movement is no longer a method for body change; it’s a way to express yourself, care for your body, and experience aliveness. This work isn’t about doing things “right” or “perfect” - it’s about finding a sustainable, meaningful path toward health, healing, and happiness.

Together, we’ll work to heal your relationship with food, body & movement by:

  • Cultivating intuition around nutrition that honors both nourishment and satisfaction

  • Rewiring thought patterns that are limiting your capacity for radical acceptance of yourself & others

  • Letting go of all-or-nothing thinking in favor of flexibility and freedom

  • Exploring movement that feels empowering, invigorating, and even playful

What working with me looks like:

  • Compassionate conversations where we explore the real, raw story of your relationship with your body

  • A safe, judgment-free space for healing and accountability—centered around your needs, goals, and life experiences

  • An approach that blends real science with mindfulness-based practices

  • Support that’s honest, warm, and a little silly sometimes (because healing is hard—but it doesn’t have to be boring)

This work is about coming home to yourself—finding a way of being in the world that feels authentic to you.

And if you’re ready, I’d be honored to walk beside you!
